Linda was an amazing, inspirational woman. She fought a tough battle & surpassed what her doctors thought because she had a plan & was going on her terms - because that is how Linda lived her life. I have so many fabulous memories from the wonderful holidays spent at her house -July 4th (the party that everyone was sad to see end) to Thanksgivings that started in the house in the early years & had to move to the garage as the family grew. The ghost stories...the gross dinner discussions that could only be spoken at the "Litchfield" table. Her laughter & tears as we were leaving or when Mom would read a letter she had received from Grammie Connolly. I have no doubt that even from the other side she will make us aware of her presence. I love you Aunt Linda & will miss you terribly. Love Always, Kelly

My deepest sympathy to Erica, John and Alison and the rest of the Litchfield Family. Linda truly was an inspiration to me and many others. I am so grateful to have met such a wonderful person who had such a zest for life. I had heard many stories about her and it was not until I met her in person that I realized what a fighter she was. She was not going to let anything hold her down.
Linda-I will cherish the memories that we made the day we met. I know that everytime I look at a Hydrangea I will think of you. I hope that if/when life throws challenges my way that I will have the courage and the fight in me that you did to overcome them. You will truly be missed!!! Rest in Peace my friend!!

Linda faced challenges that would have defeated the best of us, and she won each time by refusing to live her life to anything less than her fullest capacity. She inspired the deepest devotion from her family and friends and especially her husband and two daughters. I'm sure she and Gug are having the ultimate cocktail party right now.

I had the honor and great pleasure to work with Linda at Stephens Memorial Hospital for many years. We forged a friendship based on mutual respect and sharing our "mom & children" stories. We were able to help each other out during some trying teenage years and our friendship held fast through all the ups and downs. Linda was a genuinely loving and caring person who could always bring a smile to others. She had a wonderful sense of humor and this helped to see her through alot. I shall miss her a great deal. My heart and most sincere condolences go out to John, Erica and Allison. May you treasure the memories you have of your mother and may these help you through this very difficult time.
