Ellie and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how devestating it is to lose someone that you love so very much, as I too have recently lost a loved one. You think that the pain will never go away, but to be honest with you, it does eventually get easier little by little in days to come. I only met Rick one time which was when my father and I drove to Florida. But that one time was very special. I never laughed so hard as I did at Rick. Ellie, you are in my prayers and my thoughts every day. Cherish the time that you had with Rick, and hold those memories deep within your heart. It helps the healing process alot, I know, it is how I am able to cope with my brothers death. I am always here for you Ellie, so keep in contact with me. Please?

Rick, I will never forget you and the great times we had together all those years ago. Even though we had not seen each other for a long time, you opened your home to me. Cousins forever and even though the years have passed and we have had our separate lives, I never forgot you and never will. You gave Stefany and I the best 2 weeks of our lives. Hattie has you and your brother now. Love you forever. Your cous. Sue

Your jokes could make the happiest cry! Your friendship was true. Your kindness to others was remarkable. I will think of you often and at xmas when i look at the reindeer that you made and gave to Mara. It will be out every year with pride. I will truely miss you. Keep a cold one waiting for us. I love you.

Uncle Rick,
I don't know where to begin. Growing up I heard all kinds of stories of my mother'sBrenda childhood that had you in them. And I knew that you would always be someone special and cool to be around.
As years went by and I grew older I loved all the reunions, because I knew you'd be there. You where always laughing, face turning red, and telling those "bad-dirty" jokes that I wasn't suppose to hear, but I did :
You were one of the best uncles! I wish you had stay around a lot longer so that my girls would have thought and felt the same way. They will never get to see for themselves how special you were. How just being around you made everything and everyday better.
But Katie will always remember New York with you and Uncle Glynn helping clean her 1st fish. And I'll always show pictures to the girls, so we'll never forget you. I love you Uncle Rick....I'll see you again in Heaven, we'll play lawn darts or volleyball again or throw the football. And you can tell me all your new "dirty" jokes!!
I 'll miss you.
love Angie

I will forever cherish the time that was spent with you.
The many nights spent at the dog track teaching me the right way to bet ;-, playing darts, and flea-marketing, are just a few memories that I will always carry with me. It saddens me that I never got to say good-bye, but I know in my heart you will always be looking down on me from the sky above.
Rick,
I can?t comprehend just how sad you must feel
For the loss of someone you love.
This sorrowful time must still feel unreal
And you?re looking for strength from above.
I hope, from my heart, that your pain will decrease,
That your spirit will gain strength again,
And I pray that your faith will create inner peace
And that God will send blessings--Amen.
Till then, if you need me to lighten your load,
I?m waiting to come to your aid.
Just call on me, and I?ll walk down that road,
Until the dark times start to fade.
Deep condolences,
Heather M. Groux

Save me a spot up there and meet me, know we can't raise any Hell there but we'll raise alot of Heaven!!! Dear Rick!
Monday we came home to find you were gone! such a sad day- a friend whom we had come to cherish was gone in a snap... So It got me to thinking _ of times when on halloween you were dressed as darth vader sitting on your front porch giving candy to the kids and beer to us parents- years gone by - allways a friendly smile, a tooot of the horn, a peace sign, as you came and went...
In the past 2 years we really became close, shared many a beer, lots of movies. You were allways ready to lend a hand, share a tool, ready to listen ready to laugh share a joke... not only were you a gentleman more so you were a "gentle man" your heart was of gold your spirit was kind- In the end all we can say is that our family are better people for having known you. Rest in peace friend you will allways have a place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Godspeed
