Obituary of William Charles Olmstead

William Charles Olmstead (61) of Clearwater, Florida, passed away suddenly on October 29, 2023.

William, fondly known as Bill, was born to Charles and June Olmstead, in February 1961 in Gary, Indiana. At the young age of five years old Bill moved with his parents to Saint Petersburg, Florida. As a child he attended Seminole Methodist Kindergarten program and later went on to graduate from Boca Ciega High School. While in school Bill enjoyed playing on the Keystone Motel baseball team as well as playing football. After high school Bill went on to become a skilled marine upholster, focusing on canvas and seat repair for marine vessels. When Bill had the chance, he loved being on the water and spending time with his children.

Bill is survived by his children Jennifer, Kristina, Julia, Dylan and stepchildren, Daryl, and David. Bill is also survived by his precious grandchildren Chanel and Christian. Bill is also survived by his beautiful former wife Lanette. Bill was predeceased by his parents, Charles and June Olmstead as well as his beloved daughter Heather Elizabeth Olmstead, who died tragically August of 2023.

Tell him I love and miss him, and when he turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon his cheek and hold him for a while.

Because remembering him is easy, I do it every day,
