Obituary of Toy Brian Lawson

Toy Brian Lawson, 77 passed away after a long illness, July 6,2023 at the Care Center of Pinellas Park. Brian was born December 1,1945 in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Toy Benjamin and Evelyn (D’Amico) Lawson. Brian lived a short time in Barre, Vermont and then moved to St. Petersburg with his family. He attended St. Jude’s Elementary School and graduated Dixie Hollins High School in 1963. Brian joined the Marine Corps on March 14, 1966. He served Honorably in Vietnam and was discharged on March 13, 1969. Brian returned home to St. Petersburg and cared for his mother (Evelyn Lawson) till her passing in 2011. Brian is survived by his sister Barbara (John) Mutter of Three Forks Montana. Cousins Jeffery William Jason (Bella, daughter) D’Amico, John Anthony D’Amico, and Joseph Anthony D’Amico. Brian’s “Brother in Arms” David Troup.

A Life Tribute Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

A private Military Service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery at a later date.
