Obituary of Robert John Reynolds

Robert "Bob" Reynolds, of Clearwater, passed away unexpectantly on March 7, 2023. He was born and raised in Michigan. He graduated from Trenton High School and then began his career as a Surveyor in Trenton. 

Bob briefly resided in Texas before joining his family in Clearwater, FL, in the early 1990's. He continued his career as a Surveyor in the Tampa Bay Area. Bob rekindled his love of skeet shooting and met a large group of friends who also enjoyed shooting. Bob made friends easily everywhere he went. Between his bowling league, golf league and his work at Woodcraft in Largo, Bob was surrounded by friends who will truly miss him. They will miss his jokes and his stories about his adored nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Marilyn and his brother Bill.

He is survived by sister Jan Reynolds McElroy of Tampa; nephew Matthew (Stephanie) McElroy and their daughter Blythe; niece Mara (Justin) Spencer and their children Mallie, Jack, Luke, and Ella; and niece Kalei (Mike) Blair and their children Emery and Jace.

His family will remember his infectious smile, funny jokes and big hugs. Bob's great-nieces and great-nephews believed he was truly the epitome of Santa Claus.

A Celebration of Bob's Life will take place Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Es Spirtu Santo Church in Safety Harbor. This will be followed by gathering of family and friends from 1pm - 3pm at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa, 105 N Bayshore Dr, Safety Harbor, 34695.
