Obituary of Raymond Clauss

Clauss, Raymond H., 47, of Seminole, died February 11, 2023. Ray was born in Riverside, N.J. to Raymond J. Clauss and Mary Clauss and moved to Florida at age 3. He graduated from Pinellas Park High School and attended the University of South Florida. 

He was born with spina bifida; but always had a cheerful personality and wonderful attitude toward life. He never complained and was kind and caring to all he met. Ray loved watching sports. He was a big Gators, Bucs, and Lightning fan. He would often joke that he was born too late, because he loved music from the 60’s.

He will be greatly missed by his survivors: mother, Mary Clauss of Seminole; father and stepmother, Ray and Lou Clauss of Cedar Grove, TN; sister, Cindy Topdemir-Thornton (Todd) of Lutz, FL.; nephew Clayton Topdemir of Tampa, FL. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
